Thursday January 12, 2012

IN CELEBRATING the 15th anniversary of Cyberjaya, Cyberview Sdn Bhd is organising a nationwide logo design competition.

Managing director Hafidz Hashim said that through the competition, they aimed to jumpstart the creative minds of Malaysians.

“Cyberjaya has come a long way since its official launch in 1997 by former prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad, and has since grown to be not only an investment destination for information and communication technology, multimedia and services, but also a comprehensive township to live, study, work and play in,” Hafidz said.

Up to RM6,000 in cash prizes are up for grabs, and the winning entry stands a chance to be used as the official logo for celebrations throughout the entire anniversary year.

Entries will be judged on creativity and overall concept, originality, visual impact and practical aspect of the logo.

The deadline is Jan 22 by 6pm and the winning entries will be announced in February on Cyberview’s website.
